About the role
MMD Steel Group is hiring a Storekeeper for its Guinea operation in Conakry. Spares and consumables only help the plant if they can be found, counted and issued correctly. That is this job.
What you will do
- Receive material against purchase orders, inspect quantity and condition, and record receipt the same day.
- Store items so they can be located, protected and retrieved: binning, labelling, and sensible layout.
- Issue material against approved requisitions and keep issue records accurate.
- Maintain stock levels, raise replenishment requests and flag slow-moving or dead stock.
- Run cycle counts and support physical inventory, and explain differences.
- Keep the store clean, safe and orderly.
What you bring
- Technical certificate or diploma; stores or supply chain training is an advantage.
- Two or more years in an industrial store, ideally handling mechanical and electrical spares.
- Comfortable in an inventory system; SAP Business One experience is valued.
- French; working English is useful.
Where you will work
Conakry, Guinea, on site, reporting to the stores in-charge.
