About the role
MMD Steel Group is hiring a Senior Logistics Coordinator for its Ghana operation in Tema. You coordinate the movement that turns production into delivered steel: trucks, documents, clearance and customer delivery.
What you will do
- Coordinate daily inbound and outbound transport against production and order commitments.
- Manage transporters and clearing agents day to day on allocation, turnaround and cost.
- Prepare and control shipping, customs and delivery documentation.
- Track consignments and keep sales and customers informed of real delivery dates.
- Monitor demurrage, detention and haulage cost, and report the causes.
- Coordinate loading with stores and production so trucks are not waiting.
What you bring
- Degree or diploma in logistics, supply chain or business.
- Four or more years in logistics coordination, including import and export documentation.
- Practical knowledge of port and customs process in Ghana or the region.
- English; French is an advantage.
Where you will work
Tema, Ghana, on site, reporting to the Logistics Manager.
