About the role
MMD Steel Group is hiring an Electrical In-charge for its Burkina Faso operation in Ouagadougou. You own electrical maintenance for the site: the crew, the plan, the power and the safety of everyone who works on it.
What you will do
- Own preventive and corrective electrical maintenance for plant and utilities.
- Lead the electrical crew and allocate work across shifts.
- Maintain HT and LT distribution, transformers, switchgear, motors, drives and control panels.
- Diagnose faults on PLC-controlled plant and restore production safely.
- Control electrical spares and plan requirements ahead of shutdowns.
- Enforce isolation, earthing and permit-to-work discipline, and train the crew on it.
What you bring
- Degree or diploma in electrical engineering.
- Seven or more years in industrial electrical maintenance, including supervision.
- Practical command of drives, PLCs, switchgear and plant power distribution.
- French; working English is useful.
