The job
About the role
MMD Steel Group is hiring Cashiers for its Angola operation in Luanda. You are the controlled point where money moves: receipts, payments, and a till that balances at the end of every day.
What you will do
- Receive customer payments, issue receipts and record every transaction the same day.
- Prepare and control petty cash, and reconcile the float daily.
- Prepare banking, deposits and cash movement documentation.
- Reconcile daily collections against invoices and system records, and raise differences immediately.
- Keep cash-handling records and support the finance team at month end and during audits.
What you bring
- Secondary education with accounting training, or an accounting diploma.
- One or more years handling cash in a commercial, retail or industrial setting.
- Accuracy under routine, and comfort with an accounting system.
- Portuguese; basic English is useful.
Where you will work
Luanda, Angola, on site. Three positions are open, reporting to the Finance Manager.
