The job

About the role

The IT Support Officer provides first- and second-line technical support to plant and office staff, maintains end-user devices, network connectivity and core business applications, and supports the roll-out of Group IT systems (M365, FlowMaster, SAP) at the site.

What you will do

  • Provide first- and second-line support for hardware, software, network and Microsoft 365 issues, logging and resolving tickets within SLA.
  • Set up, image and maintain end-user devices, printers and meeting-room equipment; manage user account provisioning/de-provisioning in Entra/M365.
  • Maintain local network infrastructure (switches, Wi-Fi access points, site VPN links) and escalate to Group IT/network team as needed.
  • Support site rollout and day-to-day use of Group platforms: MMD Employee Portal, FlowMaster, SAP Business One clients.
  • Maintain IT asset register and basic security hygiene (patching, antivirus, backup checks) for site systems.
  • Provide basic user training on Group IT tools and enforce IT security policy at site level.

What you bring

  • Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science or equivalent.
  • Minimum 2 years' IT support experience, ideally in a multi-site or manufacturing environment.
  • Working knowledge of Windows, Microsoft 365/Entra administration, and basic networking (LAN/Wi-Fi/VPN).
  • Good troubleshooting discipline and clear communication with non-technical users.
  • Willingness to travel between site locations occasionally.

Where you will work

Mixed office/plant environment; occasional after-hours support for critical outages.
