About the role
MMD Steel Group is hiring a Sales Officer for its Ghana operation in Tema. This is a second position on the same team: a defined customer territory, your own targets, and full ownership of the accounts in it.
What you will do
- Build and service a customer portfolio in your assigned territory.
- Quote, negotiate within mandate and close orders against monthly volume targets.
- Coordinate order fulfilment with production and logistics.
- Drive collections and keep receivables within terms.
- Report market intelligence: prices, competitor activity and demand shifts.
- Keep customer and pipeline records current.
What you bring
- Degree or diploma in sales, marketing or business.
- Two or more years in field sales, ideally building materials or industrial products.
- Comfortable working to a number, with a valid driving licence.
- English.
Where you will work
Tema, Ghana, with customer travel, reporting to the sales manager.
