About the role
MMD Steel Group is hiring an Assistant Marketing Manager for its Ghana operation in Tema. The role supports market development, customer engagement and sales enablement with real intelligence rather than opinion.
What you will do
- Monitor the local and regional steel market: competitor activity, pricing, demand and customer requirements.
- Identify product gaps, under-served geographies and growth opportunities, and size them.
- Conduct market research across construction, infrastructure, manufacturing, mining and energy segments.
- Support customer acquisition and retention campaigns with the sales team.
- Produce sales enablement material: product information, presentations and dealer communication.
- Support trade events, dealer meets and promotional activity, and report what they returned.
What you bring
- Degree in marketing, business administration or communications; a master's degree is valued.
- Four or more years in marketing, ideally building materials, steel or industrial products.
- Strong research and analysis skills, and the ability to write clearly for customers.
- English; French is an advantage.

Tema, Ghana, reporting to the Marketing Manager.
