About the role
MMD Steel Group is looking for a Civil Project Head for its DR Congo operation in Kinshasa. You lead civil works on an industrial site: foundations, structures, buildings and the site infrastructure that plant expansion depends on.
What you will do
- Plan and run civil projects from design review through execution to handover.
- Manage contractors: scope, programme, quality, measurement and payment certification.
- Control project cost against budget and report progress, risk and forecast to completion.
- Enforce site safety on every civil work front, including work at height, excavation and lifting.
- Coordinate with mechanical, electrical and production teams so civil work fits the plant's operating reality.
- Keep drawings, permits and as-built records complete.
What you bring
- Degree in civil or structural engineering.
- Eight or more years in industrial or heavy civil construction, including project leadership.
- Contractor management and measurement experience on live sites.
- French; working English is an advantage.
Where you will work
Kinshasa, DR Congo, on site, reporting to the operations head.
