About the role
MMD Steel Group is looking for a Head of Marketing for its Ghana operation in Tema. Steel is sold on price, availability and trust; this role builds the brand and the demand behind those three.
What you will do
- Own the marketing plan for the market: positioning, pricing input, channel and promotion.
- Build the MMD brand with dealers, contractors, specifiers and end users.
- Run market intelligence: demand, competitor pricing, imports and share, and bring it into commercial decisions.
- Develop the dealer and distribution network alongside sales.
- Plan and run campaigns, trade presence and customer events, and measure what they return.
- Lead and develop the marketing team and manage the marketing budget.
What you bring
- Degree in marketing, business or a related field.
- Eight or more years in marketing, including a leadership role; building materials or industrial products preferred.
- Real command of channel and dealer marketing in a West African market.
- English; French is an advantage.
Where you will work
Tema, Ghana, reporting to the general manager.
